Exemplars of the Three Pillars
The Flowing Garden
Orin Wildhand
Netzach Champion of the Briarheart War-Bloom. Embodies the Garden's doctrine of victory through overwhelming passion.

Adept-Emeritus Theron
A master of spiritual alchemy who sees magic as an internal art for perfecting the soul.
Anya of the Still Center
The Fulcrum of the Hidden Dagger cell that ended the Great Silence by identifying and targeting the conceptual imbalance of the Thaumiel anti-throne.
The Chameleon
The Hidden Dagger's master infiltrator. Uses the Impostor's Heartbeat
cycle to inhabit false identities with total conviction, leaving them vulnerable to the ideologies they adopt.
Adept Corvus
A feared Oneirocritic Inquisitor who excises trauma instead of healing it. His brutal methods are a last resort for minds overrun by corruption.
Justicar Roric the Unflinching
A wandering Alchemical Justicar who performs spiritual surgery on metaphysical disasters. He famously cured the Nahemoth Ghoul-King during the War of the Carrion King.
Adept Lyra
An Alchemical Soul-Binder who ended the War of the False Saints. She performed a hostile psychic healing on its leader, collapsing his perfect ideology by forcing it to integrate with his suppressed flaws.
Planner Titus
A neutral, Nexus-based Civic Planner who designs social systems like refugee camps with a blend of compassionate logistics and chilling efficiency.
The Adamant Concord
Archivist Valerius
Author of A Formal Analysis of the Sefirotic Arts, the key Concordian text that treats magic as a logical system.
Praetor Kael
A Sophist Hunter who treats hostile spells as flawed arguments to be defeated with weaponized logic. Famously "patched" a magical contract's exploit.
Legate-General Valeriana
Commander of the "Iron Syllogism." Her famously unflappable legion was defeated in the "Absurdity Offensive," where they were not overpowered but made ridiculous, proving the limits of doctrine.
Subject 734 ('Breaker')
A living weapon conditioned for loyalty. A Demolition Mage who directs the volatile "Tower's Fall" cycle's collapse outward as a weapon.
Exemplars of the Heresies
Independent & Schismatic Figures
Champion Rhydian, the Unburnt
A martyr of the Garden's "Wild-Seeker" schism who consumed himself in a disastrous ritual to reignite a dead nexus, creating a permanent blight.
Adept Thalia, the Gentle Dusk
An Empathic Anchor from the Middle Pillar's "Last-Light Keepers" schism. She acts as a spiritual hospice, absorbing a community's despair in a slow act of self-sacrifice that erodes her own identity.
Centurion Gaius, the Stonebreaker
A master of the crude Sunderer's Cadence
, an art of the Concord's "Pragmatist" schism. He applies judgment directly to matter, shattering fortifications with his bare hands at a devastating spiritual cost.
Proctor Janus
Leader of the Concord's "Silentist" schism. A philosopher-terrorist who believes the Great Silence was a state of perfection and seeks to create "Sanctuaries of Silence" where magic is conceptually erased.
Lord Malachi
A vampiric Potential-Thief who preys on promising students, using his parasitic cycle to drain their latent potential, leaving a trail of "burned-out" prodigies. He was the antagonist in the Blighted Heart of the Garden incident.
Auditor Klyne
An ex-Concordian saboteur. A Bureaucratic Blight who weaponizes Concordian philosophy by infecting enemy systems with self-replicating, contradictory regulations that grind them to a halt.
Cassian, the Bug-Finder
An ex-Concordian Glitch Prophet. He exploits minor "bugs" in reality to create localized paradoxes, seeking to prove that no system is perfect.
Xylos, the Logician
A dangerous philosopher and Axiomatic Inquisitor who "unproves" systems by deconstructing their foundational axioms with relentless logic until they collapse.
Kara, the Un-Maker
A tragic God-Forger who, grieving a loss, sought to create life from nothing. Now a walking anomaly, she creates "hollowgrams"—physically present objects without substance or history—and is hunted out of fear her unstable cycle could unmake a city.
Vorax the Insatiable
A legendary Ouroboran Sage. A legendary figure of pure consumption, motivated by a hunger that has replaced all other personality traits.
Archivist Kasia
A nomadic and obsessive Oneiric Architect who creates "Mnemonic Vaults," crystalline astral libraries that drain the memories and cultural identity from a location, leaving it a hollowed-out shell.
Centurion Marius, the Silent Conductor
A Concordian specialist in the experimental War-Dance Cadence
and a master Choreographer of Conflict. He turned a Garden charge into a slaughter at the cost of his sanity, becoming an unfeeling weapon tormented by the psychic echo of the battle.
Leaders of the Arcanum Legions
The Jester & Giggles (Legion of the Fool)
A mastermind and enforcer duo. The Jester is a rumored ex-Concordian saboteur, while Giggles is his silent enforcer. Their improbability aura makes conflict too absurd to continue.
Scribe Argent (Legion of the Magician)
The Reality-Scribe hired to un-make the Thaumiel anti-throne. A deconstructionist who treats reality as a flawed text to be edited.
Sibyl & Selene (Legion of the High Priestess)
A prophet-acolyte pair who end conflict by broadcasting the "linchpin lie" at its heart.
Architect-Errant Cassia (Legion of the Empress)
A nomadic Genesis Architect obsessed with creating a single, perfect object. Her brilliant but flawed "Prototypes" have catastrophic design flaws.
Lawgiver-King Solon (Legion of the Emperor)
A charismatic Lawgiver King who establishes "Harmony Zones," conquering through a pacifying aura of benevolent tyranny.
High Preceptor Ione (Legion of the Hierophant)
Does not conquer, but "cures" enemies of flawed ideologies by broadcasting a doctrine of radical empathy.
Seraphina & Rhys (Legion of the Lovers)
Two paragons of the Vow-Sworn. Seraphina the Unmoving has become a living wall of stone to fulfill her vow to guard a pass. Rhys the Seeker is bound to find the truth, his vow manifesting as armor of mirrored light that reveals lies.
Engine-Heart Vorlag (Legion of the Chariot)
The Legion's leader is more a living siege engine than a person. His advance is absolute and methodical toward often baffling objectives.
Surgeon-General Kaelen (Legion of Strength)
An amoral Alchemical Justicar who seeks to weaponize Corruption as a science to be perfected.
Silas of the Still Water (Legion of the Hermit)
An enigmatic Anchorite whose aura of tranquility makes conflict conceptually impossible, neutralizing an army's will.
Croupier Zola (Legion of the Wheel of Fortune)
Leader of the Legion and a master of grand-scale prediction. She runs the Calamity Casino, ensuring the House always profits, regardless of a conflict's outcome.
Arbiter-Primus Zosime (Legion of Justice)
A Karmic Arbiter who views conflict with cold impartiality. Her "Adjustors" enact precise karmic corrections rather than engaging in direct combat.
The Hanged Man's Network (Legion of the Hanged Man)
Led by the spymaster The Veiled Hand, the Legion is an intelligence agency that treats lives as a resource. Its most famous agent, the martyr Cipher-Seven, was captured to deliver flawless false intelligence.
Mara, the Thrice-Burnt (Legion of Death)
The current First Phoenix of the Ashen Council. A Phoenix-Born who has undergone the cycle three times, each rebirth making her more formidable and less human.
Master Healer Elian (Legion of Temperance)
An Alchemical Soul-Binder who ends conflicts by forcing armies to confront the shared trauma that fuels their hatred.
Prophet Caiphas (Legion of the Devil)
A historical Evangelist whose "Gospel of the Unwritten Page" gave compelling purpose to a terrified populace during the Great Silence.

A zealous Luminary Inquisitor who shatters enemy morale by exposing the foundational lies their cause is built upon.
Artificer-Primus Daedalus (Legion of Judgement)
An ancient Master Artificer who seeks to impose a perfect, static order on the physical world, replacing flawed life with flawless art.
The Old Man of the Mountain & Warden Alaric (Legion of the World)
Two prominent Genius Loci. The "Old Man" is a legendary, ancient force whose domain is an entire mountain range. Alaric is a younger, more active Warden whose domain is an ancient orchard.
