The Cosmic Framework: Divine, Abyssal, and Parasitic Realms
The Divine Flow
All reality emanates from the Ein Sof, the endless, unknowable source. The raw energy of the Ein Sof is too vast for mortals to bear. The ten Sefirot act as cosmic filters, stepping down this infinite power into ten distinct, usable concepts.
Between the Supernal Triad (S1, S2, S3) and the lower seven Sefirot lies a conceptual void known as The Abyss. At its center is Da'at, a wound in reality. While the Sefirot are pathways of Being, Da'at is a conduit to Non-Being, and to touch it is to risk utter erasure.
The World's Shadow: The Qliphoth
If the Sefirot are divine principles, the Qliphoth (lit. "Husks") are their cancerous shadows. They are not an opposite force, but the horrifying extreme of a Sefirah's concept taken to its absolute limit, divorced from any balancing influence.
To draw power from these Husks is to invite Infestation—a spiritual parasite that consumes the soul, twisting a mage into a monstrous Avatar.
(For a detailed catalogue of the Husks, see The Qliphoth.)
